Installing Freighter Wallet

The RAMM v0 prototype integrates a connection to the Freighter Wallet, which is a free wallet software that is compatible with Stellar and the Soroban smart contract platform. In order to test on RAMM v0, you will need to download and install the Freighter Wallet.

To install the app, go to https://www.freighter.app and click "add to browser"

Then click "create wallet" if you have never installed Freighter before on your machine. If you already have a Freighter wallet, you can import your wallet instead.

Next write down the 12 word recovery phrase someplace safe where you can access it in the next step and hit next.

The next step will be to select these same words in the same order to confirm you recorded them accurately and hit confirm.

After you enter your words and hit confirm, you will get a success message that you have installed the Freighter plugin. On this page there are instructions to pin the Freighter plugin to your browser's toolbar for ease of access in the future, which is recommended.
